Topical anesthetic is one of those things that is just an automatic. You dip a cotton swab in the jar and hand the doctor a big glob of it before he/she anesthetizes. But how much do we really need on the cotton swab to get effective numbness?
We recently received OneTouch Revolution (Hager Worldwide) topical anesthetic here at the Dental Advisor. As you can see from the gif below, we may have had too much fun with the dispensing of this product. You simply push on the top and a perfect little .2mL of topical gel comes out. No issues with cross-contamination, no guessing how much is needed, no waste by getting a big glob.
What were the Initial Insights of the Dental Advisor team and our editorial board?
– Dr. Bunek’s assistant, Shelby, tried this for us and 10 minutes later she still felt numbness in the area!
– We love the dispensing… it just feels cleaner than dipping in a jar.
– Good flavors.
– Do you really get all of the gel out of the jar in this dispenser?
