SafeSiders HF Helical Flat Rotary Instruments (Essential Dental Systems) are an innovative rotary file system. The patented helical flat rotates in the opposite direction of the cutting flutes. According to the manufacturer this creates easier negotiation of the canals and provides a coronal pathway for debris, among other features.

- Nice flexibility of the file, but not so flexible that it bends as soon as you try to place it in the canal.
